Biogaz d’Arcis is an innovative and ambitious circular economy project in the Arcis-sur-Aube commune that deals with organic products. The product of a strong partnership between the SCARA cooperative, a key regional player in the world of farming; Sofiprotéol, a financing and development company and a subsidiary of the Avril group; and Ter’Green, this plant processes 45,000 tonnes of waste every year. Equipped with a continuous dry digester and a wet post-digester (Strabag technology), the plant injects 500 Nm³ CH₄/h.
